Ok guys well i just got all my stuff In the mail and i am really looking foward to putting it in, as i was reading i saw alot of talk about 14.7-15.1 in a crx with ZC Intake Header exhaust, i realy would like to go a little faster, maybe a low 14 or even a 14 Flat...

Wht else can i do before i put my motor in to make me a little quicker? and to make it easier since the motor is on a lift in my basement!

thanx Alot

you could do a custom port and polish on the head.

or change the cams...change the clutch...flywheel

lots and lots of things to do, all depending on how much $$$ and time you have

Well, i am looking for the cheapest way to do it, I am on kind of a tight budget since i just spent money on my motor, but i wanted to do things while the motor was out just to make it easier, i was looking into a port and polish and a 5 angle valve job, you think that will be good, and do you know around how much???

thanx!!!

Port and polish
CAms
cam gears
I/H/E
more aggressive fuel system (re-mapped ECU)
high comp. pistons, head gasket
timing advance
overbored TB
weight reduction
clutch/flywheel
head work/ valvetrain

should be close to a 14 flat... or better depends on how well you can drive

For 300-500 you could have high compression pistons put in.  You could easily get away with 11.0:1 with good tuning.  With a good intake, exhaust, header, and good head work (and maybe a raised rev limiter), you may be able to hit 14 flat.  Cams are a very good idea, too.  260 or 264 should pull hard to 7500.  All this costs money, though, unfortunately.  With all that you should run low fourteens or even high thirteens.

you should have done the easiest thing and just gotten a b16a and with that intake and exhaust you can hit 13.9 depends how good you drive thats what my friend does.

yeah, but you can probably get to 13.9 for less with the ZC.  I mean, you can probably do engine/trans/ecu/clutch/all other parts needed ZC swap for less than 1500 and spend 1500 more (3000 total) to get to 13.9 or you can spend 3000 for engine/trans/ecu/clutch/all other parts needed b16 swap, and then you still need to spend like 800 for the intake/exhaust.

What are you looking for other than a 14.0 streetable, handling what?  There is tons of stuff that can take you to that time.
