Heyyyyy ladies. Whats been up?
At the ripe age of 27 I'm still playing with hondas. I went over to the darkside for a bit and picked up a 2005 M3 in '08 but found out that wasn't for me. So now I have a pair of ITR's, one 98 that's my track car and a black 01 that's my daily driver. Got real heavy in the road course driving and travel all over, my girlfriend and checking account hate it.
So whats up with all of you fags!?

It made too much of a statement, in an economic downturn. My sister is barely scraping by and her asshole brother has a $800 car payment, nahhh. Fun car, had it for a little over a year but I prefer integras more. Especially when you have a backup one. This weekend is my last event of the year unfortunately  |

I'm old now. I don't do shit. My wife has a phd. I drive a Corrola station wagon. We have a dog, cat and mortgage. That is my life. I like it...
In all seriousness, life is extremely boring. I get up, check the news, scratch my balls, clean a little, work out, make dinner, eat, read a little and go to bed. Rinse, repeat. My wife makes enough money for both of us right now (and for the foreseeable future). That doesn't exactly bother me too much. I am working on a book and screenplay at the moment (Yup, I'm a loser). We're trying to figure out the "kid thing." The clock is certainly ticking on her uterus but we still feel like it would be irresponsible to have a child. Wasn't I living in some stoner's garage like two weeks ago? Wait, it was twelve years. Whatever. I don't think I would be a responsible father at this point. OK, I just got a call from "the wife." We're going to go running.

Holy shit I guess I fit in now, lol. Left the world of B16'd Rex's for a yes I said it a Mustang Cobra, but that is a long time ago.
Now I have the wife, mortgage, baby on the way, and the commuter TDI Jetta. 42 MPG @ 80 MPH at 1/4 mile times are somewhere around 15 minutes!!!!
Nothing beats a B16'd Rex that runs the 1/4 @ high 12's and gets 35 MPG.
I'm looking for one but don't have the cash or the time.
Nice to see everyone.

I just got Phatty's message too, like CRXPower, I barely use that email acct. Just for fantasy football reasons.
Anywhoo, you said it, this place is like a time capsule. I def think about my b16'd black crx quite a bit. The adventures of junk yard treasure hunting.
But as for my place in life right, I just got engaged in September. I finished Med School, finished with residency, and for the last 6 months have been working as a Internist in New Orleans, LA.
As for what I am driving, its a 2008 Altima. The only mods to it are 08 Maxima SE wheels and dark ass tint all around.
The lease on that will end soon, so im probably looking into going German this year.

this is the most posts ive seen on crxpower in years  im two years out of my bone marrow transplant i got for leukemia. bomber was my donor. im still on longterm disability recooperating. im hoping to get back to work soon, im on my last month of cobra, so i either need to work, or go on medicaid. we still have a few crxs around here. dave gave me back my original 91 red si, which i fixed up and sold for 600 bucks as a complete shell. then dave blew the engine up in my old 91 dx i sold him so he gave me the shell a few weeks ago. i threw in a d15 with an si trans and got it on the road yesterday, so its going to be my winter beater. i mainly ride my 600rr around. dave bought two 88 crx si's. a rusted out yellow one that we stripped to the bone, and a flat black shell. we put all the good parts on that and now thats daves daily driver. last pic of the red si before it left...  heres my 91 dx back in 06, thing was mint.  its pretty beat up, but this how it looks now.    the engine i just i put in. d15, y8 intake manifold, it rips pretty good. |
