Dumb Things

So i was cleaning out my storage getting ready to store my car and came across a pic of me topping out my car. Makes me think about all the stupid things i had done when i was younger. Wondering whats the dumbest thing any of you have done with your cars?

Guess driving with the hood unlatched would have to qualify. Making action cam footage from the front of the car we tied a camera under the hood but didn't tie the hood down. End result was not pleasant.

broken windshield, damage to roof? poss off road action while trying to figure out where you were headed?

basically busted hood and windshield, I didn't reach to high of a speed before the shit hit the fan.

I lost control of my Mercedes S-Class doing 100 mph while heavily intoxicated.  Apparently, one of my tires blew out, so I panicked and decided to get home before anyone noticed the sparks flying off the rim.  Well after a while the heat from the sparks spraying off the front wheel ended up blowing out the rear tire sending me spinning about 190 degrees over the course of several hundred feet.  I ended up coming to rest a few feet away from a high-line pole.  After getting two new wheels and tires, the only other damage was a slightly mangled fender from being bashed by a completely flat tire.  I also lost a little trim off the front bumper.  Those old Benz's truly are built like tanks.

This was a few years ago, but you can still see the marks on the highway from where I lost it. 

Other dumb things, 140 mph in a civic, 130 in an a6 (not even close to as exciting), 97ish on a '76 Honda CB400 (very exciting!), 60 on a snowmobile powered golf cart (scary scary scary!),  90 in a 30mph zone, ran over construction poles at 100 in my Escort (fall down <50, pop over the car around 70, and explode over 100ish), also got a speeding ticket for 63/30 OUCH!  That pretty much covers my bad ideas.

I've done all sorts of dumb shit, just was lucky enough to never have had to pay the price for most of it...
