ive cleared it but when i start my crxit doesnt read right and ive tried to set it but im not for sure what im doing wrong

Sorry, but aside from wiring, I cannot even tell you where to begin. I would check the autometer site, they might have manuals for ya, or go and check the wiring. Personally I hate having a gadget in my car that I didn't wire myself.
