im looking everywhere but cant seem to find the two things that will help expidite the completion of the rex. One is the illusive usdm p30 Angry, and the other is the del sol (dohc) intake manifold...
What i want to know is why exactly it wont pass smog with the jdm p30 and if i can use the jdm (wouldnt be the same as the usdm 92-95 DOHC?) or aftermarket intake mani like say the eddelbrock offering..
im moving to japan in a couple of months and really want to ge this done Cry..

figured id get the INNOVATIVE MOUNTS ac bracket so i could bolt my dx matsushita ac compressor back to the block . i get it and im all giddy with the thoughts of finaly firing up the beast . as i start bolting this thing to the block i realize its not going to fit and sure enough it doesnt! their bracket only works for the sanden compressor but the funny thing is that is mentioned nowhere on any on the sights that sell their product. take it from me go with Hasport they even have an "instructions" link on their page. now ive go o wait at least another week to get this thing done

Would having a CAT on there help. The JDM siR’s came with catalytic converters. I removed mine as pre 1992 in the UK there are no emission tests.

EMISSION TESTS SUCK

I've been lucky with the white one, it has passed 4 yrs in a row. The black one however.... It's like a soup sandwich, all FVCK'd UP. So yah, I'm batting 50% I use the JDM P30 I think, I'd have to look. I had to retard mine big time to pass.
