Simple question I suppose... I am asking about the Civic Si from the same production years as the last gen CRX's.  A quick glance on autos.msn.com tells me they share the drivetrain and engine layout, is the body the only real difference? I see the Civic weighs over 100 lbs more.

I autocross with some friends who drive Civic Si's, and I am wondering if the CRX would provide any other advantages other than the weight difference.

the major difference is the looks, wheel base and backseat. i prefer the crx, mainly for looks. u can get both almost equally to the same weight. for autocross i here hatches are better but ill stick with my crx. Wink
