Hello,

My name is Josh, I am 16 yrs old and from Michigan. I just picked up my first car for free. Its a 1985 Honda Crx with a carb. 1500 motor. I dont know much about these yet . Its a 5 speed. The motor was seized . Ive had the car two days and my brothers shop Tru Power Motorsports is helping me pull the motor. The motor is coming out tommorrow. They dont know alot about these yet either. Basically we hope to find another motor and trans. We arent sure what the best motor to swap/install/bulid on would be. Any help or advice would be greatly appericated.

Thanks,

Josh

Tegs 89 and older is the same family as the angine that your pulling, unless I miss my guess, they are tons of those engines in boneyards. Check out redpepperracing.com they specialize in 1G CRX's, We can help you in here but most of the info here are for 2G's or 88-91 CRX's
