I have a 91 crx si and it has a b16a2 block with a b18a1 head. I was pulling onto the highway today and when i shifted to 3rd it started sputtering all the way to 5th for about a mile and a half. i just put new plug wires and plugs on it. the is a little bit of oil in cylinder 4 getting onto just the threads of the spark plug. i am guessin it needs a tube seal but i didnt think that it could cause it to miss like that. i need help asap cause it is the only car i have to drive and i need to get it fixed soon...if there is anyone that would know what is going on i would appreciate it. thanks.

all of the parts were just left overs.....i got all of it for free so i went ahead and took it cuz i had a 1.5 the was basically blown up so i figured this was better than not bein able to drive it...i am in the process of lookin for a b16 head.

if that was the case then he should have left the d series engine in there

did you find the source of the problem?

those seals would not cause a problem like that, unless the oil is getting into the spark plug and keeping it from firing
