just wanted to let everyone know that zealautowerks has been working on a new horsepower calculator.
the calc is now up and usable.
atm the accuracy seems to be within 3hp of oem specifications.

this is just the beginning! the calc will soon be able to incorporate aftermarket addons as well.

its not bad, the HP clacs are fairly close to what i have seen as HP #'s and turbo setups on H-T.

only feedback i would add is some user friendly info like:
-instead of typing in the total cc's, have a couple quick buttons to enter in what the stock D16-H22 cc's are. but still leave the option for custom cc's incase some had the engine bored out
-add a note to the peak horsepower RPM saying that the peak hp is not what your rev-limiter is, that its usally a couple thousand RPM's below that.
-add some coding to the turbo sizing portion that if the field for boost pressure = "0" then phase out turbo sizing options or have it select a non-turbo option
-add a note as to what classifies the size of the turbo, most people say small or large turbo, when large to me is only for drag racing and something that takes 8000 to spool up
-allow a field to change the percentage of hp loss due to drivetrain. this factor can be decreased by upgrading the stock tranny internals and by upgrading some driveline components.
-and i would change the 1/4 mile et text to say max possible ET, people are going to read that and not understand there are about a billion factors that have to do with getting those times
