The "change"/"new layout" is actually a whole new piece of forum software. The old software was a cluster f.... from years of custom modification and what not, making being able to update to a newer version a huge headache. This new software does mods much much better and is updated with the latest spam bot protection. The old site I had registration completely shut off for quite a while due to spam bots. Hopefully this fixes some things and brings some traffic back, if not, well not, then who cares.
