i installed my compustar alarm over the weekend and would like to mount the antenna in the center of the back hatch glass.. then wire isnt long enough. Its 4 tiny wires that run to the antenna... would it be safe to cut and solder in extenions on these, some ppl have to me to go ahead and some say it could effect how good it works? what do u guys think

I wouldn't if I were you. If you cut and solder, your adding resistance to the wire. I dunno if that's a good idea since it's the antena and it's working with very little voltage. Good luck
