not worth the extra money, 100 octane gas is really only if you need it. it has a much higher resistance to knock then the 93 which would be usefull for turbo or high compression engines where knock is often found.
for your mildy built engine you wont see any improvement in power.

for your mildy built engine you wont see any improvement in power. It might actually hurt performance since the flame will travel slower through the fuel during combustion. You *could* advance your base ignition timing, but you still won't see any dramatic gains.
