That's a nice looking turbo!    What external wastegate are you going to run again?

I am still shopping for an external WG, however I was thinking about using the saab internal WG setup on it. If thats even possible. I want to try and save some $$ and not have to buy a WG.

I will have to test fit everything to make sure nothing hits the block, etc. Keith, did you have to grind down your block at all? The revhard mani I am using cuts it pretty close, esp. near the A/C bracket/mount.

The turbo has no in and out play, minor side to side play, seals are good too.

mine was close to the radiator, so i had to go with a half rad from an EG

im using the SS autochrome manifold, and their wastegate 35mm.

oh and you have to run an external wastegate, internal ones are part of the turbo of which yours does not have.

cant i just unbolt the internal WG off the saab turbo and bolt it up to the turbonetics turbo?
it unbolts like this and should fit fine.

yea that should work for lower pressures, BTW how much boost you looking to run?

you might have to enlarge that hole to make it fit but i think it will work

my turbo came today!! its nice. But i am still undecided on what to do. Whether to run the turbonetics turbo which i know is good and never reach the full potential of it. Or i can use the saab t3 turbo with unknown mileage and seal condition and lose boost at higher rpms.
