About how much would a rebuild on a 1.5 DX engine cost?  Looking to pump out 120 just on engine.  My car has been smoking a bit(a bit = a bunch, lolol), I need a whole exhaust, and I need atleast the head rebuilt.    Havnt talked to anyone about it yet, but I am guessing 700(just engine) or so?  Thats just to make it back stock.  Maybe 200-300 for a little performance.  Let me know if these figures are close or what.  Thanks.

I have started talking my mom into a b16.  I think I can get her to get me one, but I will have to blow my old one up first, lol.  Thats not too hard.  I am gonna keep trying though.  Maybe I can get one in a few months.

well unless you have a friend helping you get the swap done then plan on not having your car for about a week... maybe two. it depends on the quality of the work getting done and the speed of the workers (duh!). anyways, my swap was done in about 7 hours... speedy deamon freaks. plus the guy who did my swap does atleast a swap a week... atleast that's his average. talk to people who have a b16 swap first. if you're gonna get a swap and then leave it then i might recommend getting a motor that has more power. like MY LS/VTEC GODDAMMIT!!! or a b18c or a b18b non-vtec motor... unless you want vtec which is cool... just get my motor(!!!) or a b16... hope i've said something intelligent here... peace...
