well first off. if you are thinking about a turbo you need to be thinking about a turbo cam.

a N/A cam is designed for cam overlap so that the exhaust valve stays open a little longer to help create more vaccum to draw in more air in through the intake valve

with forced induction you have a positive manifold pressure so you want as little cam overlap as possible cause the air is being forced into the cylinder without any vaccum pressure

oh and thread moved to right forum

If you're looking for turbo cams, EF1 makes some nice ones at a great price. Check them out at http://www.m24x.com/

Worry about getting your turbo setup and proper tuning first.  Then worry about what parts to buy to increase horsepower.  Food for thought, you will see far greater hp numbers with a high boost setup then you will with a low boost setup and the above mods you mentioned.

See I have been wondering about this 2 what is a good setup to run for a turbo B16A. I mean exhaust, headers, intake, cams, pulleys, pistons, you get my point. Anyone who has experience with this let us noob losers know.  :nutkick:

to answer your question...
two possiblities, run low boost on stock block or rebuild block for high boost.

one will cost you a couple weeks pay and the other will cost a couple months pay

silverkorn holds it down , but nobody else likes to answer a question and leave out the sarchasm...if you are already running that setup on your valvetrain, sell your bumpsticks and get some turbo cams, if not like they said you have otherthings to worry about first .
