searched everything on this forum but no deal....heater and air not working. no air at all. could it be the blower? what should i check before i pull that blower out and buy a new one?

can u hear the blower turn on it under the passenger side of the dash

first, did you check the fuses?


could be a bunch of different things, but it's easy to test the blower motor. just use some jumper wires and it should turn on when you give it power.


there is a sticky at the top of the forum with the helms manuals for crx's. go through that and test the relays, etc... that are in the blower motor lines and you'll be able to find what is causing it.

I got almost the same problem but my air and heater does blow some.  Heater will cook my butt but when i try the air i only get warm air coming out.  Does my system just need to be recharge or could it be something else?  and if i have to replace the system should i go ahead and upgrade it while i`m at it?

i guess you didnt search enough, i had a similar problem goto the top of the threads and see the sticky for manuals. download teh manual. look in the heater assembly there is a flow chart to help figure out your problem. hope it works out.

listen on the passenger side of the dash to see if you can hear the blower coming on. And if you can't hear it coming on or off, i would take it to someone and have them check it out before you go buy a new one.
