Have you guys heard of these? They are supposed to eliminate check engine lights when you turbo. If i got a rev hard turbo kit would i need one? and what exactly do they do?

all its doing is tricking your map sensor so it doesnt read over 11psi since anything over that will make the engine shut down
personally i dont believe in those hacks; if your going to spend the money to make serious power, especially on a stock motor, spend more money to make sure it runs right.
get a quality aftermarket engine management and run the GM 3-bar map sensor

missing link is one way check valve it does work especially if on a budget. we tried the aquarium checkvalves but they dont work till you put like 14 of them on

just get an afc and do the afc hack so then u can run a stock ecu, tune ur car with the afc, and be good for up to 12 lbs of boost with out an check engine lights.

You have to remember if you use a missing link, you're tricking your map sensor. Tuning will be worthless if you do this, since you are most likely tuning with map sensor voltage.

If you get a hondata you won't need any check valves as the ecu will now be able to add fuel when the MAP sensor shows positive manifold pressure.

Hell, you won't need ANYTHING to trick your MAP sensor until 11 psi...but that's where the fun starts
