Ok, I can't expect this engine to last forever.  What are my options.  Is the ZC swap basically the same for a 87 si as the 88-91's?  Is the cost in the same range (800)?

You need a 1st gen ZC and no its not the same kinda swap.  86-87 Acura Integra engine bolts right in.  youll need the engine, tranny, steering knuckles, and while your there you may as well use the teg rotors too.  You can pick up a teg rather cheap and have everything you need I myself paid 250 for mine but it was an auto try your best to find a stick and when you need more info lemme know.  theres a few wiring changes you'll need to do.
