read this article for the newest transmission technology where you dont have to lift off the gas to shift and there are no clutchs yet its not an automatic

I don't have to take my foot off the gas when I shift. Clutch cut feature owns you ;]

No clutch though? That kind of defeats the purpose of manual IMO.

yea well to shift the car you just throw the gear level into the gear easy as that, no need to let off the gas and then use the clutch. but i can understand with goldie on this one, sometimes having the clutch really shows who is driving the car. unlike when you have all your advanced electronic features. but the thing is those zeroshift transmissions will be able to handle more power reliabily. well these will be used in racing first and later transfered to everyday use. so watch F1 to see if they pick up on it or not, i mean those automatics they have now are damn close if you ask me
