I've decided to put the B20 in my CRX so any of you think it's a good idea? I just go with the stock b20b in my crx then turbo it later or do the b20b/vtec it later b/c i probably cost me more than $ 3000 to put the b20b in my CRx ..but if i go for vtec it will be more expensive now i dont have that kind of budgetss. would you guy give me any better idea? or advices? suggestions? thanks a lot!!

Full B20 swaps usually go for $750 from legit websites.

Once you pay that $750 for the engine. You need to get B-series Trans, axles, Mounts, ECU and The engine harness. I think you are looking at spending around 1500-1600k for the entire B20 swap. I think HMO sells entire 1st gen. B16a clips for like around $1900 not including shipping. If you get the clip you can then transfer JDM front clip panels to your car if they are in good shape. And the JDM cluster, AC unit and other JDM interior parts to make your ride look like JDM.
By the way...I am high as a anything right now.... I might have worte too much. :wiggle:

yeah..I thought about the LS before too.. I heard a lot of people prefer the b20 is better b/c it's more torque. I have around $ 3000 right so ..any idea how to do a swap?

i run an LS and lemme tell ya after i took it out and ran it (raced it)
that thing has plenty of torque bone stock. and i myself don't do vtec specially since i plan on turbo later.

of course an ls turbo would be faster than an ls vtec.

B20 is cool. BTW, I recommend the B20Z2 over the B20B4 (126hp@5400rpm vs 146hp@6200rpm). You will love the torque! It's a lot better than the LS. I wouldn't recommend putting a VTEC head on it without replacing the pistons with aftermarket units (Due to the shallow valve reliefs). You could but..... A couple of things you will have to do before you swap it into the car are 1. get an LS Intake manifold, as the stock one won't work in a CRX, 2. Get an aftermarket header as the stock one sucks. 3. Get a god exhaust. 4. Use an LS ecu to run it. 5. Go kick ass on B16a powered CRXs! BTW, I would also recommend an S-AFC as the motor will want a little more fuel than the stock ecu can provide. Trust me B20s are cool.

i haven't taken my CRX w/ LS to the track yet i'm waiting for everything to get done.
but get the engine you want according to what you're gonna do to it later.
i used an LS so i could do a B20 converion and run a turbo or a SC. i'll see what is cheapest at the time.
but i actually like my LS stock. maybe change the headers and what-not but besides that it is pretty fast.

B20 doesn't have to be resleeved as long as you don't throw boost or high compression at it. Honestly a decent setup would be a B20 with bolt-ons and a good set of LS cams.
