There are tons of people on that board that run daily driven turbo setups, any time you modify your engine, and start making that kind of power, and thrash on it. Of course you are going to blow engines.

It is thanks to them that people can now run realiable lower boost honda engines, for about 1/2 the price of a new kit. The R&D they have done has pushed the import world forward.

Their engines blow, because they push them to the limit, everytime they build something, they want to to go fast, now, and hard. It is this drive that has allowed them to learn and share as much as they have. They also provided a place, for all other turbo freaks to go to, and trust me, there are a few people on those boards that are amazing, some of the best honda tuners around.

best thing to do if you want reliability, is to purchase a greddy kit. Or, another kit like the greddy one, there is a rev-hard kit as well as a couple other pre made kits that are proven. Anything home made, go to www.homemadeturbo.com like I said, there are many kits for sale on there, and they do produce reliable results. The guys who run the boards there even sell good kits. Keep up on your research, www.honda-tech.com has a forced induction page, and it is excellent, lots of knowledgable people there. Turbo is a whole different world, and engine managment is the key.

I built my turbo set up based off of info from that site.
didn't know a thing before it.  cost me about 1500 CAD inc manifold, charge pipes, fittings/lines, safc, custom fmic, 450cc dsm injectors, and apexi bov.

a rev hard kit sells for approx $4000 CAD here.

@ 5psi I'm ~ 153.6 hp and 139 tq (not bad for the lil 1.5L)
Go Turbo D15!
boosting to 10 when I get my injectors in.
