ive made my mind up. im selling the rex. im gettign teh car i always talk about. a 90- to 93 tsi. i would like some opinons on the price u would ask for the car heres what i got. 91crxsi,dohc zc swap,intake,header,high flow cat,magnaflow exhaust.teg ecu and si ecu,,lowered on kybs,eibach springs,camber kit in frotn and back, heres what it needs. tires,alignment,maybe struts. thats about it. im thinking 2500-3k range. sound right? my goal is basically to get a pretty clean tsi, go with a big 16g,3inch exhaust,intake,bigger injectors, fuel pump, and basically make it to the low 13s ,high 12s. opinions are greatly appreciated.paace      |

ok im probally talking out of my ass right now as i usually do but i think i might be serious for once. the tsi has so many more possibilties but the problem is im scared to look under the engine bay. too many things. thats why i liek the rex cause its simple and stuff but i need a change. if i get sick of that car ill get anotehr rex. few things i forgot to mention about condition of the rex. as i said absolutely no rust!! one door dent, bumper needs to be fixed, and theres a dent in the fender. bedside that, its a pretty clean car. and i know there hard to find now without rust and a decent body. but basically i want 3k obo ,as is. just tellin u cats first if anyone is interested. paace

oh yea, its got a brand new centerforce dual friction clutch,act 12lb flywheel,brand new radiator,brand new dizzy. air conditoing is gutted.

Ask $4500 for shits. There's always gonna be a buyer. Plus you're expecting much less so if you have to go lower you wont mind.

it might need a little bit of body work, but not very much. those things can be fixed very easily, and the door is barely even noticable. I'm with goldfingaz - ask $4500 because you can get that much for it, unless you're selling it to one of us, in which case i'll buy it for $1001 (fuck you mountain man!)

you always gotta start higher than what you would expect. my buddy sold a 93 teg, that was only worth about 3k for $5500. as clean as your ride is you can easily get 4500 for it. post in a few different places. rexes sell quick especially with no rust.

see i got a problem here. i really want to get a gsx,tsi and i might evevn settle for a laser rs or gst. but i cant find one. ive checked auto trader and ebay and havent seen much so i dont know what to think. :cry:

try cars.com and expand your search radius. when i bought my first rex i looked everywhere from maine to floridabefore i found one at a decent price.

i can prob get 3k. ive seen b16 rexs go for 8k. there are def some stupid kids out there. if u build a dsm right there not really unreliable. ur taking a chance with any car u decide to mod.
