Okay.  I'm not gonna have a chance to get the boat out of the garage AGAIN so it's yet ANOTHER GOD damn WEEK TILL I CAN PUT MY SHOCKS AND SHIT ON.  But I'm still toying with them until then.  So here's the same question, how in the fuck does ground control expect me to slide a the threads (The red tube that the thing spins on) onto the struts with that thick ass piece of rubber between them.  I can put them on tight with just the O-Rings, it's not as tight obviously as with that rubber sleeve but it's still tight.  You have to pull it a little to get it off.  Will that be tight enough?  If I just put about 3 of the big O-Rings around the struts and then put that on.  There was one guy on this board that said it took like him and two of his friends to get it on with that rubber thing, it's tight as a bitch though.  I don't see how it's possible to get it on with that.

I just installed mine last weekend. TRUST me you NEED the sleeves AND The O-rings. I have to put thicker O-rings on there because one of my coilovers spins while you try to loosen the hex key adjuster to raise or lower the car. I was kinda upset about that. It should fit fine, just when you put the sleeve on and slide the coilover on, use the spring to push down and secure the threaded part to the bottom so that it covers the entire sleeve. I called GC About this and they told me to use the smallest O-rings if I needed to, but you MUST use the sleeves. It just makes sense

What shocks are you using?  I'm using kyb agx and for the rear struts I can't even get the thing over it with just the sleeve without the O-Rings, maybe yours is narrower then mine since you need the bigger O-Rings but I got it over the sleeve once with JUST the sleeve, no O-rings and the WD-40 dried out and I couldn't get it OFF.  I'm gonna go call GC.
