For anyone who has an aftermarket fuel pump,  I was wondering if your's was loud.  I just put in a BBK 255LPH fuel pump and you can hear the damn thing even when the car is running (inside and outside) of the car.

I personally would not think they should be that loud. But, I have heard about some aftermarket ones being very loud. Call the company, or talk to the place you got it from and ask them if it is supposed to be like that.

CRX PWR what pump do you have?  And your's make the same noise?  Its a high pitch whine loud enough to hear when the engins running.  A when you turn the key to the on positions its even louder but a litter deaper of a pitch.

Its just fuel pump, it pumps the fuel and is in the gas tank.

The fuel pressure regulator controles the amount of fuel that leaves the fuel rail which controles the pressure inside the fuel rail. and is mounted on the fuel rail.

hope this helps
