I was curious if anyone had instructions on how to build a manual boost controller, I pretty much know what to use just want to make sure I get the right spring and what not.

MBC's are easy. I can understand why your making sure though. Ok your gonna bleed off the line from the turbo outlet (compressor side) to the wastegate. It's a rubber hose, put a T and connect two to the above and one to a valve that you can adjust. Tuning is key, adjust it from the closed position, not the open. So your adding boost not taking some out, so that you don't run the valve on the open without knowing how much it will boost. I have mine made of a cheap aquarium 3 way valve and a solenoid that opens and closes, I can set the boost and go back to stock with a press of a button, good for rainy days. Ever try running hi boost in the rain? hehe

Hmn, I'm trying to get you that diagram but it won't let me load it. I'm gonna email you my own design, no spring, just a valve from petsmart and a used air control solenoid from a mitsu from a junkyard, an LED and a switch.

Thanks for the e-mail.  What I am basically looking for is a parts lsit.  I understand where it goes and how to use it just not how to make it exactly right.  Thanks.

That's the most common, but that's not the one in my diagram.
Here's the write up

i spent $40 CAD trying make one (3 different designs).  spiked WAY too much, or didn't work well at all
I gave up and bought a turbosmart MBC for $80 CAD.

Wish I would have done that in the first place.
