well i never wired a v-afc before but i did do a s-afc and that was 4 wires, which should be the same on the v-afc, just has more to control the vtec

but for the 4 wires i do know...
-one is the power which you connect to a 12V power source
-one is the ground which you connect to a battery ground, do not ground it to the chasis
-then there are two fuel map wires. the fuel map in wire connects to the fuel map wire from the engine harness. the fuel map out goes to the fuel map wire from the ecu

i would assume there are two more wires for the vtec control, connecting along the same lines as the fuel map

i forgot there is 5 wires, the 5th being for the TPS sensor

all the wire you do the splicing too can be done right the the wiring harness going into the ecu

the power, ground, and TPS are just taps to the original wire, thus the spliter that comes with it

the map sensor is a direct cut in so that the map sensor is now reporting to the AFC instead of the ECU, then the AFC will determine what the ECU should read to allow for more or less fuel.

there are a couple more wires you forgot:
The second ground and the RPM output.

I have hooked up an AFC before, I don't know which wire to tap into on the wire harness.

yea i forgot it needs to read the RPM to know when to activate VTEC
that wire i would assume you just splice so its only reading the value and not changing it

as far as finding out which wires to splic and so forth see if you can find a detailed listing as to what each wire is in the wiring harness. if you cant i'll see what i can dig up later tonight
