right here

Let me tell ya, I only had the shitty JRSC at 8psi on a DOHC ZC. It was built internally but that don't add any power. I think 13.9 was the best I did at AZ in pretty good heat.

I have Twin Turbo now, but trying to get rid of the 3800 pound tank for something that is more "Fun, nible, responsive, Fun, and more reliable"

3000GT Twin Turbos are plagued with reliability issues. Worst car ever owned and I have had 20+ cars.

I am looking into 88-91 CRXs and Don't know if I want to go all motor like B18C5 done up or Small 6-8psi turbo on B something. I want reliable.

My FIRST EVER DONE in US Supercharged DOHC ZC rex was a blast to drive. Fun as hell. Instant repsonse unlike turbo. of course less power potential, parisitic drag and not easy to change boost (pulleys)

How are are those Vortec systems? I can get a GB rolling on them....

iv got a b16a/jrsc 10PSI AND IT ROCKS. it flys but iv had my fun and will be goingturbo for a change, i wouldnt be surprized if i dont like the turbo once the jrsc has the power when ever you want it unlike the turbo. ill be selling the super later month or 2. for like 2000 i think and thats with the pulley 10psi and the kamikaze headers 2.5 collector, only like 2000miles on the kit. ajn91184@aol.com

It was actually only running at 6psi.  I bought a smaller sc pulley a few months ago and increased the boost to 8psi (verified via a boost guage).

I have a 91 crx with a B16a swap and a J/R blower at 10 psi. I'm in the area of about 220-240 whp.  Any questions ask.

how long did you run with that?  I see it looks like you blew your motor from what you posted in the other thread.  How was that for everyday street driving?  What kind of fuel milage did you get?/ how much drop did you notice.  actually did you notice an increase.  I have been told you can actually get better gas mileage with a s/c as you can create more power easily.  but that probably doesn't apply to a heavy boost.  What did you pay for the charger?  have you had any problems with it? (other than blowing the mtr)  Why did your motor blow?/what did it do?

Smiley hope you really ment it when you said "any questions ask"  Smiley  thanks.

Yes I did mean it when I said any questions ask.  As far as my gas milage is concerned, when I had the 4.20 pulley on it (6psi) My highway milage was pretty f**king good. I drove it from my house in jersey out too college in eastern Pa  stopping hal;fway in carlise and was at 1/2 tank at 183 miles.  With the way it is now I maybe get 200 -230 to the tank max but i;m running rich as hell.  I have nothing to controll my fuel curve except the stock pr3 (junk) and a afpr.  I payed $3,088.12 for the blower kit origionally but I have put a few more bucks into it since.  I think you are confusing me with another write in cause I have never come close to blowing my motor.  Actually the thing is bascially maintence free.  It makes a really loud WHINNING noise when going by someone and they ususlly don;t know what to think.  Only thing I would say change is the FMU relay supplied with the kit.  Get rid of it and  run a vafc.  The relay plays havoc with your computer.  hope that answers everything.

so thats probably what I might do now.  do a b16 swap and then put a sc on it.

Also what have you ran in 1/4 if you have ran it?

dilbert: thats what im thinkin I might do.
sc or turbo
just dont wanna spend the fuckin money on all that shit.
wish I didnt live in cali for this reason

i was thinking what if I registered my car in nevada and got it smogged there?
cops normally cant give you tickets for exhaust and shit if youve got out of state plates because you dont have to comply with cali's vehicle laws and shit.
I just dont know a downfall for why i shouldnt/couldnt register

do I have to be a resident of cali? i dont think so cause my father knows someone who registered in nevada and live here
anyway im rambling

Well after work today I am stopping into a machine shop here in London that does sleeving of Honda blocks and am going to see the price on getting a B20 done. and if I bring them the sleeves.  Yea, I am now pretty much going to base my decision on cost.  I know that with a B20 & sleeved I could boost the hell out of it and hit really low numbers but also have a daily driver cause I could turn down the boost.  But with the B16 SC I think it will be quite a bit cheaper in the end and I would still get ok gas mileage.

if your going to get the engine sleeved get a LS block done since its cheaper to get a b18 block.
