Don't even waste your time trying to figure out the directions that come with an intake. To an ordinary person who is not very familiar with the ins and outs of an engine (Literally) the term "Valve Cover Hose" means nothing and looks no different then the other 50 hoses scattered about. So here's those directions in about 1/4 the time.
Take out the old shitLoosen the brackets to the plastic intake. Remove the bolts on the airbox it connects to. If you have to take out your battery to get to some of them, do it. Just don't break anything
Hook up the new shitConnect the adapters to the pipe and the filter to the correct adapter. If you don't know which side is which just compare it to the original intake you pulled out. It'll line up exactly and the filter goes where the old airbox was. Once you've tightened the clamps around that hook the other adapter in and a clamp around it. Make sure the intake and filter are down far enough and securely in place before you tighten clamps so you can close the trunk. If you want to add the holding bracket in, just be creative and find a place to mount it with drywall screws or a previous bolt. It's just a tight fit though I don't think it's necessary. Now you'll need to hook the hose up. Remove the valve cover hose, That's the one that is going into the top of the engine and that little tube that connected to the old intake. If the hose that came with your intake doesn't fit right into that valve you'll need to cut the heat shrink adapter off the old hose and use those factory clamps it has to hook it up. Now just hook the other side of the hose into your new intake and rev it up.
