Yeah, I'm not mechanically inclined. I'm trying to put em together before I put them on. The little rubber sleeve that came with the ground controls is really wide over my KYB AGXs and the metal sleeve for the coilovers doesn't go around it, it slides over tight though with just O Rings, is that all I need or am I doing something wrong?

Kay, got it off. I don't think I'll have a problem with the front, it's just the rear. Anyone else have this problem with KYB AGX? It's so tight I got the metal sleeve stuck over the rubber one without even the O-rings on it, and it's like slicked with WD40

haha i know exactly what you mean... i have the exact same setup
i got the small rings and then put duct tape around it hella tight! and i mean as tight as you can. and just drench it in wd40 and put the sleeve on... put all your weight on the sleeve... it should be an extremely tight fit... took me 2 peeps to push the sleeve all the way down. when the wd40 dries up there is no way that shit is moving anywhere

Yeah, as soon as that WD-40 was on there it was stuck real bad. I never thought of twisting it side to side to get it off, I kept trying to pull it straight off. Anyway, did you put the duct tape AROUND the sleeve to make it squeeze or did you use duct tape in place of the sleeve? God, it'll probably take me more time to get the coilovers assembled then to put em on.

Make sure you do the install during a time in which parts stores are open. I guarntee you will probably break a bolt.

ya u know the small urethane o-rings?! slip those over the strut/shock assembly and then put tape over that hella tight (not too much cus then it gets too big for the sleeve to fit) THEN slip the sleeve over the tape/o-rings....not too hard.
