just seeing if maybe there is a little interest in renting a cabin for a night or two and meeting up in upstate NY for a little relaxing weekend maybe in the next 5-6 weeks?
my friends and i rented a cabin one weekend and it cost 赏 for two nights....divided between 5 people thats only ย a night... (with water, kitchen, bathroom, 3 beds, a pull out couch, etc...)
anyway, it would be somewhere in the area of either the finger lakes region or southern central NY (4-5 hours for CRX, 3-4 hours for silverkorn, 3-4 for phatty and I, and 3-5 for cottagecreep)
im just throwing out a quick idea...jst to see if there's any interest.

I am definately down for that man, sounds sweet ass. I drive to NY all the time for motocross races and it only takes 2 hours to get over the hudson. Sounds like a plan.

I never been to NY.....but how long of a drive it be from Nashville (Ft Campbell if possible) Im interested. Now I am thinking whether I should even go to Nopi...I might but I have so much work to do on my car. Plus most of you guys are not going....so...I dont know. I could go to NY I am guessing like a 10 hr drive rite?? If more then I would only be able to show on like a Sat. but what ever....I dont know...Im interested in a meet sooner than freakin the Memorial day one. Thats fuckin along time fro now. Who knows where well be and what are situation is by then. Maybe Phatty will leave his gurl to get back together with Shark by then, who knows!!! HAHAHA...but anyways make some plans, organize it and ill see what I can do! good idea tho  |

sharkey, well my pistons are in the process of being mailed to me and shit like that but i hope to have my car on the road by then. if not hey i could always grab you or Billy Joe Bob and hitch a ride up to NY.
and CRexer101, its going to take you more then 10 hours i was thinking between 15 and 20 maybe. thats gonna be one #### of a hike for you to come up to the NY boonies. but im sure your more then welcome.

Like I said in the other thread, I'm down for sure. It would be cool to get away again before mid-terms. Upstate ny is perfect, and the cabin idea is perfect. 5-6weeks will come fast, so do we want to start naming weekends??? And like shark said, silverkorn, when's your ride gonna be done??

i mean my car could be done by that, but the way things are going i really dont see that happening. but i got something to aim for, and it should only take the mechanis like a full week to reassemble my engine and then i have to pray they dont anally rape me with costs.

aight, i'll find some places this weekend...
i do know of that one cabin we stayed at...a nice enough place and it was on a lake (Echo lake). expect 100 a night for a cabin with a few beds and ammenities (split between at least 5 people though)
dates:
OCT 19,20
OCT 26,27
NOV 2,3
NOV 9,10
those would be the night we would rent the cabin...i think any later in the year and it will start to get too cold to enjoy the time...and any earlier and we wont have enough time to organize it..
who has oppositions to these dates? we'll figure out the majority and go with the dates that most people can make it...i'll look at my shedual and add my oppositions later

I'll have to find out when mid-terms are. One of those earlier weekends would be cool, I just don't want to hit snow, and as soon as we get into nov., it becomes iffy storm wise. We had snow the first week of nov last year and it fucking stayed till april. Bahh, not hoping for a repeat of that. Ahh well, like I said, by tuesday next week, I'll be able to find out what weekends are good, teachers here still don't have their shit together.
