Hello, all!

First, I would like to say that I used to own an '87.  After driving a big '75 Camaro, I didn't think I would like it, but I had no choice as to what to drive.  Wow!  I loved that little car!

I drove it from Alabama to Chicago, around for a few months, and back.  I drove from Alabama to Ohio and back at least a half a dozen times.  That was a fun, small--yet tough :mgun: car.

Alas, I rolled it on a slick country dirt road.  To show how tough it was, I even drove it home after that!!!  I can tell you the whole story sometime if you like--quite interesting.

Anyway, sorry for the long intro.  Now to the main purpose of the post:

Obviously I have the car no longer.  But I still have the Chilton's manual.  '84 to '91 Civic and CRX.  However, it is dirty from 1) lots of use and handling with greasy hands, 2) sliding around the back of a dirty Nissan and 3) brake fluid leaked on it.

However, I can still read every word on every page.  It will do its job, it just won't look pretty doing it!  Cheesy

Anyway, if someone wants it they can have it.  Just have to pay shipping (I can send COD if you want or arrange it however).  Or if you live near Alabama we can prolly arrange a meet somewhere when I do some travelling and I can hand it to you.

Just email me.  (Should be in profile.)

Thanks for 'listening' to my rambling!  Dang I miss that car!  Sad

Well, Spec.  $$$ is the answer.

I got married 2 yrs ago and my wife and I bought a house ($$$) a year and a half ago.  It's a 50 year old house and we're doing improvements on it ($).  I 'inherited' my wife's '93 Mazda MX6 about the time we bought the house so she we could get her a '98 Toyota 4Runner ($$).  In August I bought me a little Yamaha motorcycle ($) to use as my primary transportation.  I recently sold the '87 Nissan 200SX (I got a great deal on it the day after I totalled the CRX) to help pay for part of the bike.

[I think just my household alone accounts for 1/3 of the Japanese economy.]

The wife loves the Mazda and wants to keep it and I still have the '75 Camaro waiting until I have time and $$ to restore it.

So between the house and bills and other means of transportation, I don't see a CRX anywhere in the near future.
