Yes, your DX Hood, door, and seats will fit the SI. However your DX door panel is different from the SI so it might look a little odd. Everything else is cool though. I think I wouldn't give anymore than 1,000 for it since it is missing all that. Depending on the body maybe only 500.

Give the guy 500, buy a new fender(or if the one off the DX is good), and if your bumber off your DX is good, then take everything to a body shop, give them teh other 500 to put everything on. Taking a bumber and fender off the car is not that hard. There are a few bolts under the car, and under the molding, for the fender. And the bumber is very easy to get off. So after you take that stuff off, take it to the shop, give them the fender, and the bumper, have them put that stuff on the SI.
My opinion would to be do it yourself. It is very easy to do. I would buy the car for 500, and put 500 into performance into the car. All up to you, just some suggestions.

if you can get it for 500, and its the same year as your dx (as long as ones not an 88 and the others not an 89-91) the door, fender, bumper, hood, etc... will all fit. the fenders from 88-89 are slitghly different from 90-91 with the corner lenses FYI.

Godd luck man I hope you got a pretty good deal on it. I know your going to have to put a lot of work into it but you'll have pride in the car because you had to do so much work to it. That's why I cried so hard when I totaled my DX. Lots and lots of work down the toilet.
