well it depends... if you are getting coilovers then go on ahead... and then adjust after you get the rims.... but if you are getting lowering springsget those after the rims, so you know how low to go....

Do I really need to? If I'm getting bigger wheels? I'm a little tight on cash right now. Just want to make sure it'd look right if I didn't lower it.

If your'e low on cash, I'd suggest waiting until you can do both at the same time (lowering and rims). That's exactly what I did. In my opinion when you put on bigger rims it looks so much better if you lower it. If no you'll have lovely wheel well gaps and people will call your CRX a 4x4.

Is it true you have to baby coil overs? I heard springs are better because you can't drive hard in rain or snow with coil voers for some reason

haha no.... i have know almost had my ground controls in and i have been everywhere.... and not a singe problem.... whoever told u that is smokin crack out of their anus....
just be sure to clean the threads before u lower or higher so that sand/rocks dont get stuck between the sleeves and the height adjuster thingy... and be sure to tighten the screw down so that it doesnt wiggle up or down as you drive... beside that, they are bullet proof.... hehe...

Well it seems to me that you are more into the look of a low and sporty stance. So just cut your springs and enjoy a really crappy ride. For those that are even more into asphalt eating looks just let all the air outta your tires....that will look tiiiight.
Then again ask hondaStar about JIN coilovers! :baa:

I can post a pic of my car with my rims before my drop and after (there was about a week when I had stock spring with my rims on) and then you can decide for yourself, just have to wait for me to get home and get the pics off that computer...

Okay, so if I go from the stock 14" wheels to 16 or 17, how much should I drop it?

Is it true you have to baby coil overs? I heard springs are better because you can't drive hard in rain or snow with coil voers for some reason Partialy true...If you are slammed, you will have ALOT of negative camber...this would lead to....AHEM....traction problems, and accelerated tire wear. Creating a car that drives CRUD in the wet. Then again ask hondaStar about JIN coilovers! Ouch! Just kick a guy in the face while he is down sheesh! J/K Yes I am one of the elite few to own the "Jin Hyper Dampener Controlled" suspension system in the U.S. They are the shittiest coilovers in existance and NO ONE has ever heard of them. Thanks for bringing that up Jason. It's all good, as usual I have something in the works and in the pipeline. :mmkay:

Dude, I think (and pray) he was joking. damn, if I catch anyone cutting their spring, I will personally drive to your house and kick you in the jaw. I can't stand that. To me, it's the ricest thing you can possibly do. You DESTROY your dampers, screw your handling to hell, and look like an ass all at once.

Okay, so if I go from the stock 14" wheels to 16 or 17, how much should I drop it? 16s "cough" "cough" No "burp" go "fart" with "sneeze" the "puke" 17s. Seriously though, 16s at the biggest. 17s look like 22s on a CRX. If you're going for looks alone, don't listen to me (and find another website to join). If you're into performance 16s work well. Also, I promise the GIANT wheel fad will die. Remember the really small Konig wheels that stuck out from under the wheel wells that were popular like 3 years ago? What do you do now when you see people with them? You laugh. Keep it tastful and save some cash. 15s or 16s max.
