I just put a B16A in my civic STD hatch. I replaced all wearable parts and I'm still getting a hesitation when I try to maintain a constant speed, but it goes away when you slightly press the gas peddle and is non existent during exceleration. I am just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I still have the stock exhaust and I’m running a PR3 ECU.

Hmmm, are you throwing any codes? What kind of throttle cable are you using? Distributor? Check all your connections?
It could be so much shit.

No codes, Im using a 90 integra throttle cable. I realize it could be so many things. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem when they did a swap and kept the straw for an exhaust. I orderd a comlete exhaust system hedder, cat mid section and exhaust all ractive. It should be here in about two week so Ill see if that will help.

i had this same problem on my ls/vtec once uppon-a-time. check to see if your ignition wires are in any place touching any bare metal pieces. if this is the case they may be arcing through their insulation and grounding out slightly on the metal. the way to tell if they are doing this will be a kind of burn mark on the point of contact. if you find this try to get the wires either some black corrugated wire insulator or a set of wire guides that keep the wires away from anything non painted or metal at all... if you check the crx's section you should beable to see mine on my old crx... peace...

Thanks for all the advice and keep it coming, I used the stock manifold that came with the motor it already had two O2 sensors on it. I want to replace them but I don't know wich ones to get.

Yes and no because it wont be untill next thursday before my exhaust gets here. It's just when you try to maintain a steady speed at lower RPM (below 4000) but when you excelerate its fine and it runs strong up untill my tach stops. It sucks though because I drive the highway alot and unless I'm going 80 it doggin. It feels almost like a dirtbike with the choke stuck open.
Once again I apritiate all the advice and keep it coming.
IF I POSTED THIS ON SHO I WOULD HAVE MABEY GOT ONE RESPONCE

Its a new filter and I just losened up the cable a little because it was real tight. I also changed the injectore risistore box and put some extra grounds on the motor.
