Just venting, but take a look and leave your advice please.

On the way to school today I was followed by a trooper.  And I dont even have my windows tinted, I wonder what his excuse was.  Well neddles to say that wasn't the only tim I have been harrased.

Oh and youll like this, after we lowerd a car for a customer he pulled out of the shop and like 500" down the road a trooper that was driving towerd him puled him over and said he was sports car profiling him (isn't that discrimination?) anyways he got three tickets 50 in a 30, distruction of goverment property and wrekless indangerment.  The trooper said he paced him and that he saw him d a burnout when he left our shop.  All while he was a 1/2 mile away and driving (isn't that some shit?)

I am just wondering if anyone has succesfully with a petiotion or something opened the local POPO's eyes and got them off their backs.  This is getting way out of hand.  sense my dad owns a honda and Acura repair shop we hear atleast a story a day where the pigs have abused there privlages and bent laws so they can harass our customers.  They give tickes like window tint/loud exhaust/exsesive lowering.  Just to make a point the law about the exhaust says something like the pig has to record w/ a desmil meter o\you car while you are going like 40mph and you can't be with in 100meeters of a highway.  Well would someone like to explain to me how they can just hand out tickets like there going out of style just by ear and say )oh i heard your exhaust with my window up so here you go) eat my ass.  And the tint thing (suck my cock) its supsed to be for their safty,  well I had tint that read 37 on the meter and he told me 30 was the limit.  I said listen you can odviously tel I made an effert to pleas your fucking idiotic law by making my car ugly and tinting the front windows lighter than the back.  Plus its dark out and the windows dirty and im sure you guage isn't getting an acurate reading.  He went and got a dry towwel, wiped the window once and tested it again, then made me take it off right their and proceded to search my car.  After he was done tearing my car up he came back with two tickets one for the tint and one for an 81 in a 55 wich he never mentioned anything about.  By the time I read what the second ticket was for he was already pealing out and going the other direction.  I wanted to chase him down but my girlfriend made it clear that I would be worse off if I did and i would have to face her judicial system.

ha....i don't think there is anything we can do buddy, just suck it in.  :finger:  one night...coming home from school, it was pouring out...i get pulled over, 42 in a 35! WTF anyways...he came up to my window and told me to get out of the car to stand in the rain since i broke the law and made him stand in the rain. OF COURSE I GOT AN ATTITUDE! as i sat on the side of the road....he proceeded to rip everything out of my car....$150 in school books RUINED. i got a warning for my speeding and a seatbelt ticket. You bet your fucking ass that i fought this shit. i won in court...seatbelt ticket dropped. He was suspended for 2 weeks and had to pay for books, AND write me an apology letter BOO YA MOTHERFUCKER! teaches him not to fuck with me. i hate tha police! :finger:

Face the facts if you drive a sports car cops will look at you more than if your driving a buick.

Best thing you can do is know the law and carry a copy of that book... damn what's it called?... so if they do get you for something that isn't right, you can point it out them in their face.  Like the excessive lowering is only if your head lights are lower than 22 inches off the ground in Cali here, but some cops will try to stick you with one if your car apears lowered at all.  Just an example...

dude, there are like 2 cops for every teenager in this god damn county...and all the cops around here profile.


as far as the ticket is concerned, fight it in court. even though the judges around here are just as bitchy, you should be able to get out of it. some of the law teachers (like G Loy) could probbaly suggest some things to you for what to say in court.


don't forget, the spring time is when jurisdictions start to save up money for summer picnics and other similar events. it sounds stupid as hell, but it's 100% true...cops around here are looking for anything they can find to give a ticket out and gain the revenue, and people like us are easy targets (because we're not as likely to get out of it in court as some old lady who has the same problems with her car).


petitioning will not work in any way because they are within their rights to give these tickets, plus, anyone who has the power to listen and do anything about it will be behind the cops (because they want the money and they don't see anything wrong with harrassing teenagers)

I guess one way to reduce your risk of getting pulled over is to not bring any attention to your car.
If your car is stock looking than you'll probably be left alone. If you have it say "riced out" per se than you're more likely to get pulled over.

My solution is to have one of the head PoPos as my dad.  Got pulled over for speeding, admitted it, handed him my license and my dad business card and the cop laughed as soon as he saw it and then told me how many time he pulled my dad over for his tinted windows.  It was tight.  No tickets for me.

Oh and the ticket I got was with my crx and the tint was droped and the speed only reduced 10mph.  I just thought I would add that sense I was complaigning

I feel you all on this matter.  actually the cops here at cincinnati never have pulled me over despite all the crazy shit i do and with my car's many blue corner and bumper lights.  guess they actually have lives or have a job to do.  was harassed in a township nearby though.  second day i owned the rex and was driving my friend eric in it.  it was raining so i was being extra cautious.  on one road i was doing about 23 in a 25, as it was gradual downhill.  there was a cop waiting at the bottom acrss from me at a 4 way stop.  he got to the stop sign first but did not move, while i had my blinker on to turn left.  after waiting for quite a bit, i finally turned. sure enough, porky pig turns and tails me.  i told my friend, watch, he's gonna pull my ass over. sure enough, he did, after tailing me for about two minutes.  i pull over and begin cursing.  he comes up to window, says i was doing 50 in a 25, to which i retorted that was impossible, as i just got the car and wasnt about to mess it up by driving reckless and had been actually going less than 25 miles an hour.  i told him he could ask my friend too.  i was pretty heated and wasnt about to show him any doubt, as i knew i was right.  dick head asked when my last speeding ticket was, to which i told him 2 years prior to that, and then he let me go without running my information.  prob. just wanted to see if i was fucked up or something.  this same township police pulled my friend's boyfriend over for nothing, but somehow harassed him and got him to admit he had coke in the car and they arrested him.  what jerks

Last I checked cops need a legitamit reason to pull you over.
Profiling is a form of discrimination and therefor illegal and not a ligitamit reason.  Can someone check on this, Ill call my loyer but he is quite lazzy when it comes to traffic stuff.
