rattling Sunroof - Anyone else have same prob?

Hey what up Rexers!  Does anyone elses sunroof rattle alot when it is open?   I looked at screws and they are tight...so I really dont know whats going on...it feels like its loose.    Oh and does anyone know of any websites that sell OEM parts like the sunroof switch (Mines is screwy)   Also the climate control is fucked up....I wanted to plug it up as I dont have A/C anyways but now I wanna just find a replacement console??? I've been looking in junk yards but every Civic/CRXs  are already stripped out.   Any help?

Are you sure it is the sunroof. Casue the harch rattles wiute a bit on the CRX. And for everything else I would still look at junkyards theres gotta be one out there. Also look at www.ebay.com for those kinda things. I have seen them on there once and a while. But I dont know of any websites that sell those parts, you might have to go to a expensive Honda dealer.

man, I know exactly what you mean.  My hatch rattles (i've tried to fix it way too many times), my sunroof rattles(try to ignore it), and I had to take out my sunroof switch because it would open but not close.  The switch should run you about ุ at a dealer.

for your switch, pop it out and clean it....i would bet บ that it'll work fine after that.

if the unroof rattles, check the rails and cable to see if they're tight. it shouldnt move, it should be held securly in place by the cables.
