wheel key - i haven't had to know yet, but i probably should

Where is the wheel key located?  If I got a flat I'd be fucked.  I have no idea where it is.  I checked near the jack and the spare tire but I didn't see anything.

if you got a wheel lock set (perhaps when you bought rims?) the key should have been given to you....


but some lugs require a key, even though its not a lock. are multiple lugs on the same wheel identical? are there three normal lugs and one that looks like it needs a key? three that look like they need a key and a fourth that looks like it needs another key?

I just meant to get the little center cap off.  turns out you just pry it off.  my last car needed a special key to access the bolts.  stupid question that i wouldn't have posted if i had messed around a little longer with it.

haha I thought ya meant lock lug keys....... I was gonna say, I have good advice :) I've lost 2 lug keys and had flats or needed rims off. Not fun.... well, actually bashing a socket onto a round lug IS fun :)
