My civic had one, danm, I think. Anyways, I need or want a block heater, do you guys know if any our rexs had them??? Where to get them, or how to hook them up, or what they even look like. I never actually used the one on my civic, cause I was never near an outlet, but now I have a power outlet, and no block heater. I swear my civic had one, it had a friggin plug in the bumper, so it must have. HELP ME!!!

Heard of them, never seen one.  I don't think any of the usdm cars have it but I'm not sure.

i had one on a diesel vw rabbit, but i've never heard of them coming standard from honda.  good old diesel, that stuff would get to the consistency of jello when it got cold.

Bahhh, thanks for all the hep and the shoes guys. Guess you americanos don't really know what one is. Except lemonuts, he has heard of one once...hahaha. What they are, for those of you who are curious, is a device, which when plugged in, will keep your engine at a temp above freezing for in the winter. Pretty sweet if ya ask me, I guess it heats the coolant when the car is turned off. Makes starting your car sooooooo much easier on a cold day, and saves tons of wear on your motor. Because we all know 70% of all engine wear generally occurs within the first 5 minutes of running it after being cold.

Yeah, I know what they are.  I haven't heard anything aboot (hee hee) them in years though.  I thought pretty much all the cars in Canada had them.  Well, I guess not.
