If I got the ebay coilovers, and then like tokico blues, would my car be bouncy or would I need to get something better? Also, would the weapon-r coil overs be any good (Cause of the discount) :stupid:

I wouldn't buy no name coil overs even with good struts. If you don't want to pay for the $200 plus for a good set, just buy some fixed rate springs with your struts. Sure it's nice to raise and lower it, but it's not worth it to sacrafice your cumfy ride and don't forget performance (i.e. wieghts transfer on launches and body roll in the turns.)
Just my opinion.

Well that's really my main Q, will coil overs with good struts still be a bouncy ride or is nothing t he equivalant of a good set of springs? If I go spring I'll go eibach. Do I really even need to have to buy struts if I get springs? I hear stories that you'll like blow your stock ones or whatever but is that BS or what?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot....r=0&t=0Ive been told that there made by Eibach but other company pays them to sell them under there name. Or there like ones that have small defects, but who knows... Im picking up some used sprint springs from a freind of mine for like 20 bucks, hehe.

Shitty coilovers = shitty ride, no matter the quality of dampers...

Shitty coilovers = shitty ride, no matter the quality of dampers... I agree, they are just bad quality. Sometimes you need to spend a bit more to get something nice.

I got Ground Controls and KYB AGX Adjustable's. My ride still bounces like crazy...but the handling is great. Maybe it's because I have the shocks on the stiffest setting...
