do you think it might be a low battery? try jump starting it, or get your battery tested and charged if it needs it before you replace a bunch of shit.

GROUND WIRE

is the engine ground there? tranny ground? the terminals on the battery clean and tight?

Check common stuff, distrubtor, wires, plugs..  Then test out the battery, alternator..  And it could definitely be a ground wire.  Maybe timing is bad?  Thats all mine does is click.  And I have not driven mine in a while, I think my alternator died or something, no idea.  I am just throwing some common things out, none of which it probably is, lol.

The engine still trys to turn over when the timing is off.  I've never seen this problem not relating to the starter maybe you could try your starters on a friends car.

Aiight heres the deal, I fucked around with the starter and got it to work, now I am not getting any spark, so I am gonna go back and re do all my wire connections going into the disributer and see if thats my problem. it cranks over but there is no spark so I figure that I fucked up the wiering somewhere. I will give a report on what I figure out tomorrow. I am really trying to get this shit done soon cause I got to go to New York. But I am not sure if I want to take a long ass trip with my new motor if I get it goin by then cause if something goes wrong I will be totally fucked in the ass.

I know it sounds dumb and I'm not calling you that either,  but check out your plug order too.  I had a starting issue with mine and just had to crank on it for a while.
