with that amount of miles i'd be looking at a swap.  The 88 is going to be the lightest si of the second gen so its a good choice, however i beleive there is a suspension difference in the 88 from the others.  Otherwise, these little cars handle like a dream and are decently fast stock.

Thats kilometers so that like only 120,000 miles or in that area correct?  They are alot of fun to drive.  Take the car for a test drive and be kinda mean to it.  Have some fun with it and drive it to its limits and I guarantee you will be hooked.  SO fun to drive, handling is also very nice.

yeah that is around 120000-122000 miles.  obviously when a car is what, hmm 2001-1988=13 years old, that isnt too bad is it? well that is like 15000km/year right?

is there alot of performance parts available for this car? because this car has nothing done to it, it is purely stock.

thanks for the help!

Spyder, thats why everyone likes CRX's, the performance for the car never ends.  You can keep going and going and going on it.  It is very cheap to upgrade performance wise, if you compare it, to an american car.  Thats not bad, thats less than 10,000 miles on it a year.    Not sure how much hes asking, but I would give him 2000 for it easily, if body and interior is in good shape.  I got mine for 2800, 2000 after trade in, and my car has 150,000, and its all stock.

The 88 has a passive rear steering effect on it.  Cool to a point.  Just be careful not to get a really stiff rear anti-roll bar or your rear wheels will start racing your front wheels to the finish line.

so there's no problem with a rear upper strut bar or anything?

The 88s can have snap oversteer it you're not careful.  If you do put a rear strut bar in back, put one in the front too.  The main problem is the anti-roll bars though.  You can increase the stiffness of the rear if you do the same to the front percentagewise.  I'm I making snese.  So if the rear bar is (these are false numbers) 1 inch and the front is two inches and you wanted to double the ridgity, make the rear 2 inches and the front 4 inches.  Got it?
