Not really a Q, just an update.  I got no name strut bars from my brother, the rear and front for 50 bucks.  I think that was a good deal, not sure though.  Anyway, Now I'm all set.  As soon as my front camber kit comes in wed or thursday I can put on my coilovers, shocks, and bars.  I'm excited.  then I'm gonna save all summer for a buddy club.   Actually I do have a Q, he offered me the weapon-r air pressure regulator (Or is it oil? )  for 100 bucks.  Is that thing any good?

No names run about 25 each new so that's not bad.  Are you sure it wasn't a fuel pressure regulator?  If so that's a good price for a Weapon R.

I was thinking of getting some strut braces. Any one have their opinion on them? Are they worth the money if you get no named brands?

i don't think they are worth their cost if you get the best ones made   but i have been wrong before   what i know for sure is that its not something that i noticed  i'm sure it is a bit better for  handling though      keeps the chassis a bit stiffer too

Yeah, And DC is the most expensive one too.  Just be careful with ZCs (Maybe others, that's the only one I know) cause they'll sometimes scrape and rub away the metal on the front bar.  There's a big missing piece in the edge of my front one from where my brothers ZC hit it.  I hear if you put em on right though (Lifting up one edge of the car instead of just putting all your weight on it) that it'll be a  lot tighter and you can tell the difference immediately.

My Neuspeed bar is not touched by my ZC at all.  Also, I didn't have to jack up the car at all to get it on.  It was a tight fit, but was pretty simple to install.  The Neuspeed bars are about $100 but they are well worth it.

I just hear if you bring the bolts on each end as close to each other as you can and jack it up on one end it'll be mad tighter when you lower it.  But maybe that's just the no names.

If you jack the car up and torque it down, you'll fuck your alignment.

Most strut bars go over the intake manifold just fine so I wouldn't worry about it to much.
